We’re also showcasing some boss babes who use the benefits of hemp to enrich their lives, bringing in more balance and abundance.

Hemp contains cannabinoids like CBD (except Hemp seed oil) which have been shown to react positively with receptors of the endocannabinoid system and help return the body to homeostasis.  The cannabinoids and nutrients found in hemp give it healing properties to encourage health in ways you may not even realize.

On opening my eyes (trying not to immediately reach for my phone), I grab my jade roller from the freezer to wake up my lymphatic system, diffuse essential oils around the house, light some candles & sage while I do a 10-15 minute moving meditation. I write in my 5-minute journal, head downstairs for a workout and I’m ready to get going!

After my workout, I grab my overnight oats for major post-sweat fuel. I like to make sure I’m fueling my body with natural, clean products that replenish me and keep me going for a long day ahead. Incorporating hemp products into my morning routine keeps me centered, focused and ready to tackle anything that comes my way. When I feel good, I can do wayyyy more good. Happy Hemp-ing!

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of gluten-free rolled oats

2 tsp chia seeds

2 tsp Mowellens’ The Keeper Stash

1 cup GoodMylk Co.’s Hemp Mylk

1 Scoop vanilla protein powder

 

Directions:

Combine everything in a bowl & whisk together.

Split into 2 mason jars.

Place in the fridge overnight.

Drizzle a little extra honey on top before eating in the morning!

Top with anything you like: Coconut flakes, fruit, cacao nibs, granola etc.

CBD Honey Mask: Brighter, Clearer, Radiant Skin

A homemade avocado honey mask is not only super easy to make but raw honey is full of antioxidants to help support radiant, glowing skin. Furthermore, honey is a natural antibacterial (which helps to prevent and fight acne), a purifier (unclogs pores) and a moisturizer. Avocado honey has moisturizing and softening properties and is known to protect the skin from solar radiation, which is perfect for the onset of summer. Most noteworthy, when you use supercharged CBD infused avocado honey in The Keeper’s Stash, hydrating and soothing your skin while also encouraging tranquility, elevating your mood and providing a natural stress release. Just what you need for a DIY spa treatment.

We turn to organic foods and holistic remedies to promote a more balanced, supported life. Here are our favorite CBD avocado honey masks using The Keeper’s Stash!

CBD Infused Avocado Honey

For dry skin: 

1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash (or raw honey of your choice) 

1/2 mash ripe banana 

1 teaspoon avocado oil (or jojoba, sweet almond) 

1/2  avocado (mashed thoroughly) 

 

For oily skin: 

1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash (or raw honey of your choice)  

1 tablespoon yogurt 

1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice 

1/2  avocado (mashed thoroughly)

For problem skin (acne, blemishes, etc.): 

1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash (or manuka honey for maximum results) 

1 tablespoon yogurt 

1 teaspoon turmeric powder 

1/2  avocado (mashed thoroughly) 

 

For aged, sun-damaged, or wrinkling skin: 

1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash (or raw honey of your choice) 

1 egg white 

1 teaspoon cocoa powder 

1/2 avocado (mashed thoroughly)

For dull, congested Skin: 

1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash (or raw honey of your choice) 

1 tablespoon powdered bentonite or green clay 

1/4  teaspoon cayenne pepper 

1 tablespoon aloe vera gel 

1/2  avocado (mashed thoroughly) 

 

Directions and Application: 

Blend all ingredients until a smooth paste is created, apply to clean face and neck and leave on for about 15 minutes. To remove, wash with warm. A second wash with cool water brings the skin back to normal temperature. A toner after removal will help to remove any residual mask. Lastly, apply your favorite moisturizer. Your skin should be brighter, clearer and more radiant as a result of these luxurious masks!

Honey CBD Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies

You don’t need to sacrifice your health when you reach for dessert. The best way to make it clean is to make it simple and this recipe calls for only 5 ingredients. Of course, we drizzled The Keeper’s Stash, made with California-sourced avocado honey and full spectrum hemp CBD oil, all over these tasty treats creating the perfect dessert to delight your senses and return your body to homeostasis.

Avocado honey is honey from California avocado blossoms and is dark in color with a rich, decadent taste. Avocado honey is rich with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. This type of honey combined with our hemp oil extract and you have the perfect addition to toast, breakfast, dessert or any other sweet or savory meal for a touch of sweetness.

 

Takes: 10 minutes

Makes: 12 cookies 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats 
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt 
  • 1/4 cup all natural creamy peanut butter 
  • 1/4 cup The Keeper’s Stash 
  • flake salt, optional garnish

Instructions: 

Pulse the oats and salt in a blender or food processor for a medium-fine texture.  

 

Pour that into a bowl and add to it the peanut butter* and The Keeper’s Stash.  

 

With a spoon work the ingredients into a well-mixed dough.  

 

Make 1 tablespoon sized balls and flatten slightly. Garnish with flake salt if desired.  

 

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. 

 

* Warm your peanut butter slightly if it is too tough to stir.

Chamomile CBD Lavender Latte

Slow down your body systems and center your energy with this soothing chamomile lavender latte infused with transformative CBD oil. Snuggle under a blanket, grab your favorite book, make this warm latte and settle in for the night.

This is a perfect evening drink to slowly prepare your mind and body for sleep. Chamomile contains an antioxidant called apigenin, which has been known to produce calming effects combined with the gentle, tranquil qualities of lavender and hemp CBD oil.

 

Takes: 10 minutes

Makes: 1 serving 

 

Ingredients: 

  • 5 ounces hot water 
  • 1 chamomile tea bag 
  • 1 teaspoon culinary grade lavender 
  • 5 ounces unsweetened almond milk* 
  • 1/16 teaspoon stevia** 
  • 3-7 drops Lit From Within

Instructions: 

Steep the chamomile and lavender in the hot water for 5 minutes and then discard the tea leaves.  

 

At the same time, warm the milk of choice. When the tea is done steeping add in the milk, stevia and Lit From Within.  

 

Enjoy!  

 

* You can substitute in any preferred plant or dairy-based milk.

* You can substitute stevia with any sweetener of choice. Or 1 teaspoon of The Keeper’s Stash in place of the Lit From Within and stevia.

Matcha CBD Lemonade

Iced matcha with cbd and lemon

A refreshing and restorative matcha lemonade combined with the healing properties of CBD oil is the perfect drink for a spring day. Make a single batch for a light pick-me-up in between meals or a pitcher full for backyard parties, relaxing in the sunshine or as a cleansing alternative to water.

 

Takes: 5 minutes

Makes: 1 serving

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/16 teaspoon stevia*
  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • handful of ice
  • 1-2 drop Inner Peace

 

Instructions:

Pour into a glass and top with more ice if desired. Iced matcha with cbd and slice of lemon

Enjoy!

 

*You can substitute stevia with any sweetener of choice. Or 1 teaspoon of The Keeper’s Stash in place of the Inner Peace and stevia.

Golden Mango CBD Smoothie Bowl

 

Make this clean smoothie bowl for a quick and refreshing breakfast or snack. Your body will thank you for all of the superfoods that it contains, and you will be ready to face whatever is thrown your way!

 

Takes: 5 minutes

Makes: 1 serving

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (more if desired)
  • 1 – 2 drops Inner Peace
  • sliced banana, optional topping
  • cacao nibs, optional topping

 

Instructions:

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until very smooth.

Pour smoothie into bowl and top with sliced banana and cacao nibs. Eat and enjoy!

 

 

Vanilla Hemp Milk Matcha Latte

Have you heard about the benefits of matcha and CBD oil, but don’t know how to use them? Look no further. This matcha latte will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to start your day.

 

Takes: 10 minutes

Makes: 4 lattes

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, optional
  • 2 teaspoons matcha
  • 4 – 8 drops Inner Peace

 

Instructions:

Add hemp seeds, water, salt, vanilla and maple syrup in a high-speed blender and process for 1 minute. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag and discard the remains.

Heat the milk to warm and whisk in the matcha and Inner Peace. Divide into 4 cups, serve, and enjoy! 

Summer Berries & Chamomile CBD Cashew Cream

Don’t stress over dessert ever again. You know we always keep it simple and this is a summer dessert you can enjoy while staying healthy and chill. This dairy-free delight is the perfect snack or post-meal sweet treat.

 

Takes: 1 hour

Makes: 4 servings

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 chamomile tea bags
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 4 – 8 drops Inner Peace
  • 2 cups fresh berries

 

Instructions:

Bring the water to near boiling and steep the chamomile tea for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags and pour the hot tea into a blender with the cashews and salt. Blend until smooth and refrigerate cream until chilled (about an hour).

After the cream has chilled stir in the maple syrup and Inner Peace. Divide the berries into 4 small bowls and spoon the cream over the top and serve. Enjoy!

CBD Honey Dressing on Endive Salad with Strawberries + Avocado

It’s so easy to ruin a healthy salad with a load of unhealthy dressing. This dressing combination is sure to delight your tastebuds and your mood. We paired it with endive and fresh fruit salad. But it’s so versatile! Keeping a carafe in the fridge will give you the flexibility to infuse goodness into many dishes.

 

Takes: 10 minutes to make

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash
  • pink Himalayan salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups endive leaves
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

 

Instructions:

In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, The Keeper’s Stash, salt and pepper.

Place the endive leaves into a mixing bowl. Cut the strawberries in half, leaving their green leaves (those are edible). Place the strawberries, avocado and parsley into the bowl. Spoon on the dressing and toss lightly.

Plate the salad and drizzle on more dressing and black pepper if desired.

Smashed Blackberry Toast – CBD Honey & Cashew Ricotta

With beautiful toast concoctions making their social media debut, we thought we’d pass along our little secret with this recipe. We broke out the mortar and pestle with this one….so you know we’re serious. The combination of these ingredients is perfecto. And The Keeper’s Stash adds that boost of EXTRA…both in flavor and feels.

 

Takes: 10 minutes to make

Makes: 4 pieces of toast

Notes: you can use your favorite nut butter in place of the cashew spread

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices baguette (or preferred toast)
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1 lemon, juice + zest
  • pinch pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoon filtered water
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon The Keeper’s Stash, plus more for garnish

 

Instructions:

Toast the bread and set aside.

In a blender combine the cashews, lemon juice, salt and filtered water. Blend until smooth. Add more water if necessary.

In a mortar and pestle or in a bowl with the back of a spoon, mash the blackberries with the lemon zest, a pinch of salt and The Keeper’s Stash.

Spread the cashew ricotta on the toast and spoon the blackberries on top. Top with a drizzle of The Keeper’s Stash and more lemon zest if desired.
